Camilla Fletcher studied Anthropology and Psychology at Durham University before completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in North London. At the end of her degree, she embarked upon a short but immersive internship in the Acupuncture department of Hangzhou Hospital in China. This inspired her to join the team as a volunteer practitioner at The Gateway Clinic at Lambeth Hospital in London, providing acupuncture on the NHS to GP referred cases.
Since graduating in 2007, she has undergone extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of women of all ages. This enables her to support women through adolescence, their journey to motherhood and through menopause, with a specialist interest in infertility, hormonal health & menstrual issues. She aims to provide couples with effective treatment, practical advice and support throughout their journey to parenthood and works closely with leading fertility clinics and consultants to provide a fully integrated approach.
Inspired by having two children of her own, Camilla has completed specialist training in Paediatric Acupuncture and Massage, learning from leading experts Julian Scott and Rebecca Avern. She treats a growing number of children from infants to teenagers, with a particular interest in anxiety, depression, menstrual issues, insomnia, digestive disorders, asthma and chronic chest infections in children.
She holds a diploma in Chinese Nutritional Therapy and combines this with her love of cooking to guide patients towards foods that will particularly support their health. Camilla is also qualified in Facial Rejuvenation and Revitalisation Acupuncture, which aims to stimulate the facial muscles, reduce the formation of fine lines and promote a glowing complexion from the inside out.
